The Anne Bollinger Performing Arts Center

The mission of ‘Save the Bollinger’ is to restore and conserve the art, craft, and context of the historic Renaissance architectural building and to inspire others by promoting our cultural heritage as a vital element of a livable, sustainable, community.

Progress & Plan

Current status

City officials condemned the building in 2016, when a large roof truss failed and compromised its structural integrity. The Civic Theatre, unable to afford those costs, deeded the building to the city of Lewiston. Task force members hope to convince the council to hold off on demolition.
